The Art of Writing Romance
Elise Faber on researching, writing, and promoting romance novels

USA Today bestselling author, Elise Faber, loves chocolate, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and hockey (the order depending on the day and how well her team—the Sharks!—are playing). She and her husband also play as much hockey as they can squeeze into their schedules, so much so that their typical date night is spent on the ice. Elise changes her hair color more often than some people change their socks, loves sparkly things, and is the mom to two exuberant boys and lives in Northern California. Connect with her in her Facebook group, the Fabinators or find more information about her books at www.elisefaber.com

NCWHL Community Convos: Visioning Workshop with Maryann

Here are links to the video, audio, and chat.

Visioning is a powerful tool that enables us to create a tangible, visceral picture of what success looks like in the future. The practice of Visioning came into popularity as a powerful personal or business tool precisely because it enables us to transcend incremental thinking into truly innovative leaps forward. When we are able to be in the future and describe it, our energy goes up and our imagination is ignited.

We’ll cover a step-by-step process and exercise.

Please have a pen and paper or a laptop for writing exercise.

NCWHL Assistance Fund

The NCWHL Assistance Fund provides financial assistance to players in the NCWHL who have a financial hardship. The award is up to 50% off of league registration fees for that season.

Coordinators and Board members who currently receive any form of league credit are not eligible. Fund recipients are not eligible to apply again for one calendar year from the time they most recently received funding.

The number of awards granted for the season will be determined by the Board, and will be dependent upon current NCWHL Assistance Fund reserves and the number, if any, of qualified applications received. All decisions are final. The award must be used toward the awarded season’s league fees only, and is non-transferable.

We are now accepting submissions for the 2020 Assistance Fund. Deadline is February 20, 2020.
