COVID-19 Boosters For those who register for NCWHL, you will receive an email to submit your booster shot information. Please return this to us in a timely manner! We’ll be requiring that you are boosted before skating in your first session of the new season.
Masking NCWHL will continue to abide by CDC and county guidelines for masking. According to the CDC, San Mateo County currently has a Low Community Level of transmission, thus masking will be optional for participants. Masking will continue to be encouraged and supported and we will closely monitor the situation. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/covid-by-county.html

Note that the rink and NCWHL require that our skaters be fully vaccinated (two shots + booster) and can provide proof before start of the season.
At this time, we can only accept players of at least 18 years of age.
NCWHL Assistance Fund
The NCWHL Assistance Fund provides financial assistance to players in the NCWHL who have a financial hardship. The award is up to 50% off of league registration fees for that season.
Coordinators and Board members who currently receive any form of league credit are not eligible. Fund recipients are not eligible to apply again for one calendar year from the time they most recently received funding.
The number of awards granted for the season will be determined by the Board, and will be dependent upon current NCWHL Assistance Fund reserves and the number, if any, of qualified applications received. All decisions are final. The award must be used toward the awarded season’s league fees only, and is non-transferable.
Please check back for next season’s Assistance Fund submission.
Would you like to make a donation to the Assistance Fund? This money helps skaters who need financial assistance play in our league. As little as $1 can be donated, any amount is appreciated. Thank you!
NCWHL Community Convo: Friday, Feb 5 @ 7pm Your Own Adventure – Creating a Path You Can Follow
Can opportunities arise from our toughest challenge? How scary is self-reflection? Can you really win a game without a goalie in net? What matters most?
We’re taught from a young age to plan so we can navigate life, no one ever asks what you’ll do when things don’t go according to plan. With societal guides, attitudes and choices to pick from it should be easy, but being our own authentic, best selves can be a confusing unmapped journey. Learn about different ways to look at life and chart your own personal adventure while having fun exploring how to round out your approach. And how to play either side of a game with only one goalie.
